Heritage Beyond Borders Set for Another Grand Gala

TORONTO, ONTARIO – 

Recently, the Woodbine Banquet & Convention Centre hosted an elegant awards gala dinner to celebrate Confidence, Culture and Celebration. The gala provided an extraordinary opportunity for cultural pride and elegance to be displayed; both of these themes are what made the evening so successful. Community leaders and artists as well as other distinguished individuals from the community gathered together to appreciate one another through the evening’s festivities that included several forms of multicultural entertainment.

Throughout the evening, attendees enjoyed an electric atmosphere with a decor that represented Canada’s multi-cultural make-up. The program contained an amazing range of entertainment; the opening act was the exceptional Sanaya Albion, a Canadian recording artist who performed a live set infused with so much soul that it kept the entire audience entranced. Following her portion of the night, a dance competition was held on the public stage where participants were able to show off their incredible skill and talent. After much anticipation, the Theatre of The Mugabe winners were announced at the end of the dance competition Monique being the first-place winner and Veronica being the lucky second-place winner.

Mackenzie Lubeck made a splash at tonight’s event, clearly demonstrating she has what it takes to be a star performer, no doubt about it. Lubeck took centre stage with her talent and confidence, commanding the audience with sheer force of will. Before the last chorus even began, all in attendance were already on their feet, cheering for Mackenzie Lubeck.

At the pinnacle of the evening a very special award for the service was presented. Joe Volpe, PC, the prominent leader of Corriere Canadese is the recipient of this award to highlight his significant service to the nation of Canada and also to media and society showing how his extensive impact has shaped this country’s civic and informational environment and will continue to shape the future of both these sectors in Canada.

The program unified the two elements of formal ceremony, as well as genuine expressions of culture to provide an unforgettable experience for attendees celebrating both personal success and the collective accomplishments of our cultural heritage. The entire event is important because it commemorates the invaluable contributions made by those who have dedicated their professional lives to serving the Canadian people, and therefore serves to recognize and celebrate the diverse cultures that contribute and benefit our country.
