My Wonderful Experience at New Looks, The Family Salon in Lake Town
Having felt like being pampered, I went to New Looks Family Salon in Bangur, Lake Town, last weekend. I had heard of some lovely festive offers with Durga Puja just around the corner and wanted to explore for myself. I had quite a good time, so here they are now sharing the experiences. The salon was quiet, yet the staff was busy preparing for their next client. And not to mention, what surprised me the most was how clean and organized the salon was.

The front staff added to the warm and fiesta vibe by welcoming me with warm smiles. I was put at ease immediately. I chose the Olaplex hair treatment and the Lotus facial for some added indulgence for my hair and skin before the holidays. Facials are always fun but the stylist was so professional and clearly has a lot of experience. They explained everything to me each step of the way. She did ask me what my hair concerns were and tailored my Olaplex treatment to what I needed. It was great to see the stylist using sanitized tools – it truly allowed me to relax and want for nothing. The treatment was very relaxing and I could really feel and see my hair soaking up the nourishment from the products. My hair had honestly not felt smoother, shinier, and healthier in a long time. I could not stop running my fingers through it.

The next appointment was the Lotus facial, which was pure bliss. The esthetician who performed the facial was exceptionally gentle and skilled, and the products used were high quality in a clean, hygienic setup. The facial included a lovely massage that melted away any lingering stress and the Lotus products left my skin glowing and radiant dew. The attention to hygiene throughout the facial with clean towels, sanitized equipment, and fresh space made a terrific experience even better.
What struck me the most was how much love and care the staff at “novel appears” devoted to. Not only did they do their jobs professionally, and they also took time and energy to make and ensure a pleasant engagement and genuinely cared if my terms/payoffs were satisfactory. I appreciated the beauty shop’s commitment to ensure cleanliness and sanitation with sanitized equipment and clean surfaces. I felt indulgent which surely made me feel like an appreciated customer. I was given hair and skin maintenance care tips for going home afterward.
