A new survey shows the anti-incumbency wave in Canada for the current federal government. Two in three Canadians are dissatisfied with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his federal government for inflation to health care, government spending and housing affordability in Canada. Almost half of them want him (Justin Trudeau) to resign before the next election. One in five Canadians want him immediate resign for multiple issues like housing, affordability, and public debt. They are just frustrated and tired of him. It is explicit from the poll reports of The Canadian Press that widespread dissatisfaction is rising around in Canada and emerging from issues like housing affordability, climate change, and inflation to government spending and health care.

The issue was taken online in Canada for public opinion for more than three days last weekend. 1,612 people participated and shared their opinions. After statistical analysis, a margin of error was found as online polls were not done on a random sampling basis.

A significant number of unfavourable polls for Trudeau and the Liberals came after months when the government had passed the eighth year from their election win in 2015.

Below 30 per cent of the participants were happy with Trudeau’s government. However, over 63% of people were not satisfied with the current federal government. Statistics received from several surveys show that 35% of people like Poilievre, an MP from the Conservative party for almost 20 years, while only 33% of people had a positive opinion of Trudeau, the present prime minister of Canada. The interesting part is that 61 per cent of people did not like Trudeau while 45 per cent had a negative impression of Poilievre. The marginal error was detected as random sampling was not done. Although Poilievre has been an MP for almost 20 years, some Canadians did not know about him. One in five Canadians had no positive or negative impression about Poilievre- as they did not know him.
